These terms are an agreement between you and [SELLER NAME], [ADDRESS], Türkiye ("we", "us") for the MuteBand software, its updates and the muteband.app website. By installing, activating or using MuteBand you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not install or use the software and request a refund under our Refund Policy.

1. Purchase

MuteBand is sold through Polar (Polar Software, Inc.), which acts as merchant of record: Polar processes the payment, issues the invoice and handles sales taxes. Polar's own terms apply to the payment. The license itself is granted by us under this agreement.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use MuteBand on up to [NUMBER] computers that you own or control, for as long as your license is valid. The software is licensed, not sold. Each computer is activated with your license key; you can move the license by removing it from one computer in the app ("License > Remove from this computer") and activating it on another.

3. Territory

MuteBand is not offered, sold or licensed in the United States of America (including its territories) or South Korea. Purchases with a billing address in these countries are automatically cancelled and refunded, and the software will not activate for them. You may not buy MuteBand for, or use it in, these countries.

4. What you may not do

Except where the law expressly allows it, you may not:

• copy, sell, rent, lend, share or sublicense the software or your license key;
• reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the software, or try to extract, decrypt or reuse its separation models or other components on their own;
• remove or bypass the license check, or remove copyright and license notices;
• use the software to infringe the rights of others.

5. Your music and third-party content

MuteBand processes the audio that is already playing on your computer, live, for your own practice and enjoyment. It does not record or export audio. You are responsible for having the right to listen to the content you play through MuteBand and for complying with the terms of the services you use (for example streaming platforms).

6. Internet connection and license checks

Activation requires an internet connection. The app checks the license when it starts and works offline for up to 30 days after the last successful check. A refunded, charged-back or revoked purchase ends the license. See the Privacy Policy for the data involved.

7. System requirements and third-party software

MuteBand requires Windows 10 (1903 or later) or 11, 64-bit, a supported graphics card and the separately installed VB-CABLE driver by VB-Audio. Performance depends on your hardware; on slower computers fewer channels can be reduced at the same time and the delay is longer. Please try MuteBand on your computer before relying on it. MuteBand includes third-party components that remain subject to their own licenses (see Credits); nothing in this agreement limits your rights under those licenses.

8. Updates

We may provide updates that fix problems or add features. Updates are covered by this agreement. We may stop developing or supporting the software at a later time.

9. Warranty

To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided "as is", without warranty that it is error-free or that separation will be perfect for every recording. Statutory consumer rights in your country (for example under EU or Turkish consumer law) are not affected.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data or loss of profit, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. This does not limit liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life or health, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach these terms or if your purchase is refunded or charged back. When it ends you must stop using and delete the software.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims before the courts or consumer arbitration bodies that are competent under those laws.
